Yes, this is Ice Cold Leader’s 101st blog!
But what does it have to do with Leadership? Discipline, consistency, creativity, service. It takes all these things to write 100 blog posts.
The discipline to sit and write. The consistency to do it every month. The creativity to come up with new topics to better serve your community. Are these quality traits only applicable to writing? Of course not. These are traits that define great leadership as long as you apply them to every aspect of your life.
Writer’s block is a real thing, and some days are better than others when it comes to writing. Some days you have nothing. But if you exhibit the discipline to write something, even if you don’t like it at first, it will pay off.
The reason it will pay off is because if you are consistently writing you will break through the inevitable blocks much easier. The sticking points don’t last as long.
Breaking through writer’s block also takes creativity. When your thought process isn’t working out it is sometimes necessary to start over with something new. Something creative and different.
And why do I write blogs? To serve people who care about Leadership. Period.
So, the point is simple. Use the behavioral traits necessary to write 100 blogs in every aspect of your life.
Exercise discipline in everything you do and exercise it consistently. Be creative and find new and interesting ways of doing things so you can continue to better serve those that are counting on you.
Do the things it takes to write 100 blogs and you will become a Great Leader!
